Can this be real?  Is he starting school in just a few short months ALREADY!?  Wasn’t it literally just 3 minutes ago when the doctor laid this amazing miracle of a child on my chest and my heart and life changed forever?  It was so sweet yet heartbreaking to watch him, uncomfortable in front of the crowd, to stare at his feet for most of the program.  Then when it was time for him to walk up to get his “diploma”, it was all too much and I cried as I watched him cry, and his amazing teacher, Mrs Schantzen, comfort him in front of all these people, then carry him out to us (hence the picture being blurry, me crying and jumping up with Rob to go “rescue” him).

” I thought I was just going to coffee with a couple of my girlfriends. We were chatting about going to one of these painting events and a friend said she had a coupon. Michele pulls a piece of paper out of her purse. It had a bow on it, it was not a coupon. It had clue number one. “You were just a woman, I was just a man, go back to the place where it all began.” I needed to go to the Chatterbox where it all started. At the Chatterbox there were two of our friends there. I had to answer a few questions from Would you Rather. Then I got the next clue. It lead me to Day By Day Cafe where another friend was waiting. (Jim and I walk over here for breakfast all the time.) Then next clue brought me to the Ordway where I had to sing a little be of a song from Cinderella (we saw Cinderella here a year ago). The next stop was at McGoverns where I had to take a shot of Goldsholger. After McGoverns I was told i needed to go back home. He had our song playing and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was the best proposal. I couldn’t have thought of a better way to do it myself. It was perfect.”

After breakfast the kids were free to play or color at a little craft table we set up.  We then had a cactus pinnata, followed by singing happy birthday and some AMAZING cupcakes!  We finally ended the party with smore pops around our living room faux campfire while Bo opened presents!  It was such a fun morning, and Bo had an amazing time!  A big thanks to Chana from Sugarwood Petite Treats and Emily from Hadley Road for your treats, flowers and help!!!
